Howard has spoken internationally about innovation and technology at companies, universities and conferences in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston and New York.
He has keynoted to the worlds largest professional innovation organizations; IEEE, 3M, DEFCON, BBN, HKUST, and many others.
In addition to founding the Silicon Valley Innovation Institute in 2005, Howard was an innovator at Bose, Apple, Darpa,the NSF and several tech firms he founded.
He has created several worlds firsts in electroacoustics, digital signal processing and education including being the first computer acoustician.
Howard composes and performs his works of music alone and with others in the Americas, Asia, and Europe in parallel to his technical and innvoation careers.
As a Juilliard trained composer and MIT trained acoustician, Howard's performed works include those for orchestra, string and wind ensembles, jazz groups and for him performing as a solo artist.
